Real problems. Real systems. Real results.
We keep client names confidential. What matters is the work: what was broken, what we built, and the measurable impact it had on their business.
Stealth Founder to Inbound Pipeline
A bootstrapped founder had a sharp product and a flat LinkedIn profile. Throughline rebuilt his presence and ran targeted outreach so prospects showed up pre-warmed instead of needing to be educated from scratch.
Technologies Included
The Problem
- Profile was bare — no headline strategy, no featured posts, no narrative for why anyone should listen.
- All pipeline came from cold email. Reply rate sat around 4% and demos were with prospects who'd never heard of him.
- He was writing posts at midnight that got under 100 impressions. Felt like shouting into a void.
- No system for turning content engagement into conversations. Likes never converted to anything.
What We Built
- Rebuilt his profile from scratch — headline, banner, featured posts, repositioned bio for his ICP.
- 4 posts per week ghostwritten in his voice — technical breakdowns, customer stories, blunt opinions.
- 80–100 targeted connections per month to qualified ICP, with personalized DMs after acceptance.
- Weekly Google Sheet showing every reply, qualifying status, and call booked.
Measurable Impact
31% reply rate on outreach
Up from ~4% on his old cold email approach, on warmer ICP traffic
8 qualified calls per month
From LinkedIn alone — same volume that used to take 500+ cold emails
Post impressions up 9x
Average post went from <100 to ~1,800 within three months
Demo close rate up ~25%
Prospects arriving warm from content, no education tax on the call
Reddit as a Quiet Sales Channel
A dev agency was getting outbid on Upwork and watching cold-email response slip. Their ICP was already on Reddit asking the exact questions the team could answer — they just weren't there yet.
Technologies Included
The Problem
- Pipeline came from Upwork (margin-killing) and cold email (declining response). Both felt like a treadmill.
- Their ICP — small SaaS founders and ops leads — hung out in r/Entrepreneur, r/smallbusiness, r/SaaS asking for help with the exact stack the agency builds on.
- Past Reddit attempts got removed by mods or got zero traction. The team gave up on the channel.
- No structure for tracking which subreddit threads turned into actual conversations.
What We Built
- 40–50 high-value comments per month on threads where qualified ICP was asking for help.
- DMs to thread OPs after a value-led comment landed — never cold pitches.
- Light profile rebuild — flair, bio, comment history that signaled credibility before pitching anything.
- Weekly tracker mapping subreddit → thread → DM → call → close, so the founder could see what was working.
Measurable Impact
7 calls booked in first 60 days
From prospects who saw a comment first, not a cold message
~$24K closed in Q1
Directly attributable to Reddit-sourced conversations
Zero ad spend on this channel
Pure organic engagement — replaced a cancelled paid-ads test
4–5 hours per week back to the founder
No more scrolling Reddit hoping to find the right thread
One Voice, Two Platforms, One Pipeline
A leadership coach had a strong reputation offline but inconsistent presence online. Throughline ran LinkedIn and Reddit together under one operating rhythm so the same ICP saw her show up in both places.
Technologies Included
The Problem
- Posted on LinkedIn maybe 1–2 times a month, only when she had a free Sunday. Visibility was inconsistent.
- Past VA-written content didn't sound like her — clients commented that the posts felt off.
- Wanted to test Reddit because clients had mentioned r/smallbusiness and r/managers, but had no idea where to start.
- Leads from both channels were tracked nowhere. Follow-ups slipped for weeks at a time.
What We Built
- 4 LinkedIn posts per week + 40 Reddit engagements per month, all written in her voice (we run a tone match every cycle).
- Cross-platform ICP targeting — same ideal client, different tactics per platform (DMs on LinkedIn, comment-led on Reddit).
- 80–100 LinkedIn connects per month with DMs that referenced her latest post — warmed before any pitch.
- Single Google Sheet pipeline; every lead from either platform tracked the same way.
Measurable Impact
14 discovery calls in month 3
Up from 3 in month 1, mix of LinkedIn DMs and Reddit follow-ups
Reddit was the surprise channel
5 of 14 calls came from r/smallbusiness comment threads
~60% close rate on LinkedIn-sourced leads
Warmer than her past cold outreach, which sat around 20%
10 hours per week recovered
No more Sunday-night scrambling for content or chasing follow-ups
From Manual Ops to Fully Automated Pipeline
A growing freight brokerage was running their entire operation on spreadsheets, phone calls, and memory. We replaced the manual work with connected systems that run on their own.
Technologies Included
The Problem
- Sales team tracked leads in a shared Google Sheet with no structure. Leads fell through the cracks weekly.
- Invoicing required manually entering data into QuickBooks after every load. Took 2-3 hours daily.
- No visibility into pipeline. The owner had to ask each rep for updates individually.
- Team communication happened through scattered text messages and phone calls. Nothing was documented.
What We Built
- Built an n8n workflow connecting their lead intake forms to a structured pipeline with automatic status tracking.
- Created a QuickBooks integration that generates invoices automatically when a load is marked complete.
- Deployed a custom dashboard showing pipeline status, revenue per rep, and load tracking in real time.
- Set up MS Teams channels with automated notifications for load updates, new leads, and daily summaries.
Measurable Impact
15+ hours saved per week
Eliminated manual data entry for invoicing and lead tracking
Zero dropped leads
Automatic follow-up sequences replaced the old spreadsheet system
Real-time pipeline visibility
Owner went from chasing reps for updates to checking a dashboard
Same team, more capacity
Team handles 40% more loads without additional hires
